The Strokes

All of these bands that were supposed to save rock music ended up being the bands that killed rock music. These guys shoved it out the door. The strokes aren't doing shit that anyone cares about. White Scrap's broke up. Hives are gone. All these bands are gone. They paved their way for like that resurgence of oh we recorded this on tape. It doesn't make any sense. Garage Rock sucks because we can't pack all that into any single band that we would be doing an episode on. See Addendum A which would be just an entire 15 minutes of us talking about garage rock being dumb. We'll probably have to start doing episodes on the little scene like that
