The Grapes of Afghanistan

There were two million land mines silently poised in croatia after the balkan war. Together we raised funds to remove these seeds of hatred sown into the ground. 70 varieties of grapes grow in afghanistan. We partnered with the united nations mine action service and then with the halo trust. Over 100 thousand land mines were removed in the chamali plains, located north of kabl once the mines were out. The seeds of life needed t restored into the land. So we introduced the trellis grape vines.
