I looked at the, I want to say it was the layman collapse back in 2008. And some of the crap that was going on in terms of custody and records and all of that was very frightening. But I'm not clear that holding the stock certificates themselves is that much safer than having your name on the stock at a brokerage firm. So if a brokerage account goes down, you better have digital, and I wouldn't want to have digital and paper records of what you've got.
