Apple is using an ARM based system from China and they use the M1 in their MacBooks. These are very expensive, which is why Apple products can be a little more costly than the average product because ARM is very expensive. So many people are going over to risk five at this point. The other open source foundations didn't do well because they did not support their instruction sets. They fell to the wayside very early.
