The Importance of Memories
A child's perspective is often what brings us into the earthy the stuff of religion that we can hold together. The smell of baking bread, or how a dress felt, or remembering e that guy doesn't look like he slept last night. Those material reminders are just as important as the more spiritual, less metaphysical ones. And the spirit can bring those things back to us,. As elder maxwell would say, the spirit can preach to us from the pulpit of memory.
