The word dildo came from our friends the italians. It came from the word diletto, meaning to delight. I think that's an interesting thing about history as is, remembering that people loved to have sex. People love to make jokes. You have to remember that people did did play jokes on each other back in the day. They were lit fully stoic all the time and winning wars or whatever.
