The Early Years Are Crucial in the Formation of Who We Are and What We Value

I was brought up in a beautiful country with an immense panoply of nature around me. But there are always worms in our Eden's and the big worm for me was this kind of like, well, why are the white people in control of this country? And then just starting to understand how laws would be used to keep the indigenous population in its place. These early years are absolutely critical in the formation of who we are and what we value. I feel extraordinarily privileged to have had an upbringing that gave me the respect and love for the things that I still respect and love now.
