The Role of Empathy in Conversations About Deconstruction

Not everyone who deconstructs or even deconverts fits the snowflake progressive stereotype. Not everyone who isn't friendly with or doesn't always speak gently to the pop culture deconstruction dialogue is a conservative fundamentalist. So our role as responsible disciples of Jesus submitted to the process of spiritual formation is to navigate conversations about doubt and deconstruction with empathy and reason while holding fast to unapologetic faithfulness.
