Is There a Violent Shift to Russian Hard Power in Central Asia?
I don't see any recourse to a violent shift away from Russian hard power or business power over these countries. I think the business links are already damaged because of this war in Ukraine. The Central Asian states and the South Caucasus wanted huge pressure from the US not to help Russia and its businesses skip around sanctions. It is deeply unfashionable to have anything to do with Russia at the moment. Even the branding and mockery is really coming through now.
