The Qianlong Emperor and the Kangxi Emperor

The Kangxi Emperor's reign was from 1661 to 1722, making him the longest reigning emperor. The Qianlong Emperor would have taken that record, but in an act of filial piety stepped down. For Kengxi, slightly different, that name was given to his reign after his death. So rather than aspirational, it describes his reign. And Kengxi means lasting peace.
