The Mixed Evidence for Catharsis
The research is quite mixed. I think there's some evidence for catharsis, but then there's also other studies that despite seemingly being conducted very well, haven't found that. And so I think that it's very difficult to know exactly what research in that area to trust. So where do you think this body of research should go next? If you had unlimited funds and a small army of graduate students, where would you take it?
