I actually don't believe that removing carbs fixes metabolic dysfunction. I think it's a band-aid. If you stop throwing wood in there, eventually the fire will burn out. You want to shut the stove so that you can still have carbohydrates and they won't fuel the fire. So removing carbs will result in clinical improvement, but it did not cause the problem. Doing low carb long term doesn't work for humans. There is a way to do it on a monthly or weekly basis with thimbleberries. And anyone who has had cramps from eating thimbleberries should eat them every day.
