Is There a Ghost Planet?
The chances that life has evolved on a planet when one of these things happen is low. But what can happen? A, you can get sucked into a gas giant and become a part of it. You can smash into a rocky planet, which was how we got our moon. There used to be two planets in orbit roughly in the same area. And then slowly, overtime, some perturbations happened, and they slammed into each other. That was way too early for there to be any life to have evolved on either of those planets.
