Is There a Doom Mindset?

Stephen Hawking says his optimism is largely coming from things he has seen that are not particularly externally legible. The main person I've read a lot of their stuff on AI is Elia Zudkowski. He's much more doom-minded than you seem to be, which I like your approach more because I don't like the doom mindset.
