The Different Models of a Professional Sports Organization

In New Zealand we had a professional team that was from our region. So it was the region of Bay of Plenty which is akin to a state. But we also had a development team underneath them, a B team if you will,. That we ran as a semi-professional team with a lot of development players and players that were up and coming. And then below that we had representative teams. So you would represent the state or the organization from under 18 down to under 12. All these all these all these tiers underneath the professional team all fed players are all designed to develop and coach and feed players through to that professional team. The heart and soul of lots of small towns in New Zealand.
