The Last Homily
Father Mark Baird gave the last homily in Louisiana and it was very, very powerful. Phillip will tell you he does two things very well: He is an excellent boxer and somehow another, he got wrapped up into a play called the serpent and he loved it. The problem is he was far better at boxing, 27 and 3 to be exact. So he starts getting these bit parts and Phillip plays a really good bad guy. Then all of a sudden, man, the movie start coming. He's in Phillips in the movies like Diner, Body Heat. I could always see it in your face. You can't keep walking and straddling the fence. That is that gospel.
