There's a lot of assumptions that we are trained subtly not to question, or that people don't question until they have a really good reason to. And it's in the best of cases cognitively difficult for people to break out of those kind of invisible barriers that have been placed around them. That is also endemic among socialist and Marxist who are not empty ears. Even though they can see parts of it, they still want to retreat towards solutionism. If we just tweak this one little thing or if we just get this one little person in the right position to change these things back the way they were, everything's going to be okay, and it's not!
