Should Christians Read the Apocrypha?
The Apocrypha are 14 books that come in what we call the intertestamental period between the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Roman Catholic Church's response to the Reformation at the Council of Trent, where for the first time they were recognized as canonical,. Protestants do not recognize them as canonical. Why I think they're helpful for us is there's not a vacuum.
