The Ending of a Novel

I thought... I honestly thought like this book ended solid. Like the third act was great. But then I knew that couldn't be the end. There had to be this other little quota. You also had to solve a caper. I mean, it's very scooby-doo in a way. They had to, you know, they have to solve the caper. Right? Because you got all this stuff, like building up to it. How do you make those kind of decisions? It's a very weird thing about endings in novels. Well, it's funny because I threw these things into motion in the beginning that they had,. you know, the show coming
