Is There a Difference Between a Tiwan and a Uk?
There's been a lot of speculation about whether what is happening in ukrane, and the western response to it and soo, increases or decreases the chance of china invading tiwan. Of course, china would take pains to draw one distinction, which as they don't consider tiwan a sovereign country. There are few countries in the world that have a unique kind of policy toward tian. It's not a recognition of tian as an independent actor, but it sort of gets close to the notion that the status of tian remains unresolved, and we support the status quo.
