Is the International Payment System Inefficient?

It's possible that they could do a first step to have something set up for between banks, which might not be a terrible idea because the swift system in Europe really isn't as efficient as the Fedwire. There are people who contend that the Fed is dragging their heels and I think that's probably a fair description. If we're going to stop this, it has to be in 2023.
