Expert Eating Elites

The expert is likely to come in there and say a bunch of stuff and step on a bunch of people's feet. You might not trust them to like advise anything about what you're going to do because they don't understand the delicate politics, right? The manager knows the organizational politics better. And so their recommendations can be more trusted to deal with those things better. Right. So both of those groups, but the manager and the expert, there are ways in which you should trust them and there are ways that you shouldn't trust them.
