Is There a Schism in Education Theory?
I wonder if there might be a bit of a schism, or at least a lack of appropriate overlap, between people who do education theory and people who actually do education. I think it's a problem if you're just doing theory without any contact with the empirical base. That's a great segway to turn to the impact of the pendemic, which i will shortly do,. But before i do, let me ask one more question that's related to what you're saying about the sociology. What are we doing with education? How should we move forward with education?
