So by 19 20, there was a very vocal and incredibly insane bunch of japanese military officers that were advocating for militarya n as the only way to feed the japanese population. This idea was picked up by li, away from the military mines and into civil ciety,. where long think pieces were written to newspapers complaining about the size and space of other countries. It was an injustice, like it was celestially unfair that china was bigger than japan.
