Duren is fired from his job as a gardener. He finds himself at the drowning cat tavern where he meets Adeline, who tells him that he's even more beautiful than his wife. The pair get into an argument and Derry tries to grab her by the neck but she shoves him out of the door before he can hurt herself. Now they are on their way back home in time for bedtime.
