Are You a Defensive Pessimist?

There's probably not one single way of achieving well-being that works for everyone. Some people have a truncated timeline, and some people have much more elongated timeline. If you are a racial minority in a predominantly white university, being a defensive pessimist leads to more well-being compared to people that are optimistic. And if you're in the middle of an epidemic, so the SARS epidemic or the BOLA outbreak, those people that are defensive pessimists tend to experience more well- Being.
