Computers and Computing - What Is It Capable Of?
A computer is just a device that can compute okay so that's circular what does it mean to compute well counting is a computation you can use your fingers to count one two three four you can do it yourself the fingers are the computer and counting is the computation. among others the others include Charles Babbage, Ada Lovelace and Alonzo Church investigated computers and computing early on as a theory to see what was possible mathematically with these things called computers especially universal computers now from here on in when I use the word computer by the way you should just assume that I mean universal computer and anything out there any physical process stuff made of matter can be simulated by a computer.
