Kinsugi, a Japanese Art Form of Mending With Gold

Kinsugi is an ancient art form of mending ceramics with gold. It was developed in japan after many earthquakes, and found its way to the U.S. via China. The technique uses a unique method that accentuates fractures by using paint on top or sprinkling gold over them. To me this is the greatest example of theology of new creation - Jesus came not only as a human, but as a wounded human.
