Introduction

In 1900, a baby was born to a poor family in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The baby's name was Terebeo Romo and he would grow up to be a priest. But by the time of his priesthood, the Mexican state had begun persecuting the Catholic Church. He was murdered by Mexican federal soldiers for being a priest. In 1992, he was beatified and in the year 2000, John Paul II canonized him as a saint. So who was he? What happened in his life? And what's that strange mystery that surrounds him today?
