The Difference Between Men and Women in Engineering and Physics

i think it is pathological for us to assume that unless every conceivable desirable position in society shows a perfectly proportionate representation of the population, the only explanation for that a mismatch is bigotry. We know enough at this point to know that's not true. If nothing else, there are many cases where there's just differential interest, you know, born of culture in some cases, and in biology in others. And en perhaps in certain cases, aptitude. But i do think there's this added piece of around the perversity of just investigating in areas where there's such an ick factor,. I'm just wondering if we can conceive of what that would be?
