In the terravada world in america, they're often talking about sutas and getting into some of the polly. But it seems like except for the heart sutra, you don't seem to hear about these other sutras a lot. One of the things early on i made at my mission to kind of popularize sutrais is because philosophical discourses like plato's dialogues are lauded in our culture as the pinnacle of thinking.
