The Advantages of a Slow Burn Movie

It's not like your typical detective movie where you meet the characters and then the lights go out and somebody gets shot. In this, it's like he's dead. He's dead. And now what? They're already investigating. So that's why I think this one gets away with it more. It doesn't, a typical detective movie, those scenes of investigation and questioning would have to go on for another two hours.
