The Problem With Linearity
We are haunted by the ghost of linearity. We still normalize the idea that all changes are coming at birthdays that end in zero, right? So we have to let go of the safe idea that these changes happen on a calendar and accept the fact that they come at us from all times. As we turn to work, this is even more relevant. You get to write the story of your own life. That's a great opportunity, but a lot of us essentially get writer's block in writing the story of our own lives.
