Plato and the Republic on the Limits of Harm

Platonic vision would inspire us to take responsibility for aiming at a full realization of the good in a much more transformative way. The jury is still out on whether we can have a democratic capitalist society that really achieves sustainability. We haven't done that yet and if we don't it's going to catch up with us.
