How to Invest in a New Property

A brand new property will have a 30 year depreciation schedule done on it. So if that house is 35 years old, it's fair to say if there's no improvement spend done on it, that you won't be able to claim any depreciation for that year right. This is why some investors, including myself, I only want to buy brand new investment properties for two reasons - the depreciation and getting better tenants.
