The Importance of Undivided Attention

We forget that the people we're talking to are an absolutely unique human being. What you're thinking and what you're feeling is going to be different from what somebody else is thinking and feeling. If you've set time aside to work with someone, give them that time because everyone has something important to contribute. We discount people who could probably depending on the topic that's under discussion should be invited into the room before any decisions are made.
