The philosopher Vivisects, you know, the vivisection is dissecting something while it's still alive. And as such, he's always at odds with his own age. The challenge from the philosopher might be different according to the character of the age. Our modern age is in fact at war with all that's great and rare,. which means our modern age is particularly hostile to the type of the genuine philosopher. But Nietzsche offers us the idea of what the genuine philosopher is - a self- legislator who can create new values.
