Is There a Demand for Software Intermediation Between Governments?

i like the idea of being able to have my financial affairs be my business and not the government's business, but i'm also a realist. Does that mean we have completely separate digital systems? Or do they all operate kind of on the same network? W i think they will, in some ways, operate on some of the shared network. And ultimately, know, politics is is going to drive this, right?
