Almost every country on earth has the means, if they wantit, to send someone to the antarctic or to fly a plane over it. Another thing that all countries agree on, we're not going to go too deep into the oceans. We don't bother even though we've said it's too hard for us to make a machine to go down to the bottom of the ocean. In 20 years, we've gone from dial up phones to having computers in our pockets that are more powerful than the machines that sent man to the first time.
