Bob Greene: This is an intricately argued and wholly fascinating work of philosophy, so there's a lot to talk about. In high school, I was mostly interested in the arts, visual arts and music; that may have been what tipped me into wanting to do political philosophy. My first book, Democratic Authority, just as a way of leading into this current book, developed a theory of Democratic Authority called an epistemic account where it's about incorporating something about democracy.
