Xenophon's War on the Acropolis
Anaxibius declared that any of Xenophon's soldiers who was found inside the city walls would be sold into slavery. This caused the Byzantines to evacuate their agra and run for their homes, while both Etionicus and Anaxibius took refuge on the Acropolis. Soon afterwards, the soldiers pulled back outside the city's walls. The majority of soldiers supported Temazion's proposal, perhaps as a way to make more money.
