Charles Moore: I was reading some of the memos that you wrote to Mrs. Thatcher about how to deal with Russia and of the Soviet Union. She just looked at me and said, no speech, Charles. And then delivered absolutely brilliant off the kap speech. This takes us into this period of time, which is crucial to understanding our own time in a way. It's difficult to recall exactly one's views from 20, 30 years ago. But I think Marvie Thatcher got it right, generally, about the future in her views.
