The Fed's Role in the Global Financial Crisis
The banks that we've seen, there's only been a handful of them. These seem to be somewhat isolated incidents and so they're less connected. The whole purpose of it was to essentially create inflation as defined by the 4-PCE inflation index. It took until essentially the pandemic where we had this extreme dislocation of labor and capital for inflation to finally come up above 2%.
