The Difficulty of Recruiting Chefs
The demand for chefs is massive. We're doing three to four quotes a day and these are people that need chefs ongoing as well. It's an interesting game we're playing now, James says. The industry has been glamourised over the years by TV and chefs making it look like it's a really appealing job to work in - especially in the kitchen. So I think a lot of people left the sector. And then the final thing is just not enough young people coming up into the industry.
