Consequences of Overfitting
The most obvious consequence of overfitting is poor performance on the validation data set. Other negative consequences include and we got all this other stuff. I would like to see algorithms that intentionally have taste breaking stuff built in. And I know people at Google and YouTube are smart and they're doing this on an individual level.
