The aim is to weaken the Afghani pregosian and derail his ambitions for greater influence in the Kremlin if that's true Patrick it's pretty remarkable isn't it? Here we have a system that is so dysfunctional that it's prepared to shed thousands of Russian lives in what is essentially an internal Kremlin power struggle.
