The Azov Regiment and the Partisan Movement
Ukrainian soldiers held out for nearly three months living and fighting from tunnels designed to withstand nuclear attacks. Many of them in the Azov Regiment, born from a right wing militia now integrated into the Ukrainian military. They talked about their experiences of going through Russian checkpoints and how at first it was nerve-racking especially when they had something they needed to conceal.
