Fire rages near Halifax: "Their house was already burning"

The Halifax Fire and Emergency
The fire took less than an hour to go from a fire call to the first set of evacuations. 14,000 people were under an evacuation order and we're living with friends or at the various comfort centers that have been set up by the municipality. To be honest, I live in the urban part of this city so this fire doesn't affect me but just listening to the stories, it's absolutely heartbreaking. It's been really dry in Nova Scotia this year. Some suggesting the driest it's been in many years.
