How much do you actually need any given day to support collagen synthesis and that subject is up for debate we're not going to solve it conclusively here the science is never settled. The body can fail to produce enough glycine in times of physical stress injury rapid growth and illness, according to a study out of spain. Glycine deficiency is likely more common than previously thought and this is a significant limiting factor in collagen production throughout the body. A typical person consumes another one and a half to perhaps three grams of glycine through a typical diet.
