The apartment directly opposite from his was of particular interest. The space was just large enough for a small side table, a chair and a couple pots of flowers. And yet no one ever came outside. It was the only balcony that remained vacant night after night. Someone must be watering the flowers regularly, or else they'd all be shrivelled beneath the sun,. But who? Was there a back door they used in secret? An that beautiful music, it was unlike anything he had ever heard before. He would give anything to be over there, just to find answers.
